Quotes: No one likes to jump through hoops to find out a price but pricing isn't straight forward with custom flooring. Size, material choice and floor condition all set the price. Atlas wants to make the process as quick and easy as possible with a rough estimate. Just send your floor length and width and preference for solid color or a flake system. So far, we've been able to hold all quick estimates without raising them

Pricing: Big Box store kits and FB Marketplace ads have much lower prices, what is the difference? Our prices are very competitive for commercial quality floors. Atlas encourages customers to comparison shop and is happy to give tips on what to look for when quoting. Cheaper Kits use a water based very thin epoxy coat. Our 100% solids commercial epoxy is about 10x thicker, we use 100-200 lbs of flakes that add more strength and give texture. We then coat with a premium high solids no odor polyaspartic. Floor prep is the most important and most involved part of the process. Atlas uses very slow diamond grinding passes with aggressive and fast wearing diamond inserts. This can take a full day to do right on a typical garage Cheap options can skip grinding and etch the surface. There are many online videos about failures from this method. A lot of time can be saved by fast grinding passes. There will be dust and some profile but this won't open the concrete pores and will leave most of the top layer which has poor adhesion. There are many shortcuts or cheap resin options that Atlas will not use.

The process: A garage will generally need 2-3 days. The first is the most involved and usually 10+ hours. The majority of the day involves a very thorough grinding and concrete repair of the floor. The remaining time is for the coating, flaking, topcoating and curing.
